9/13/24 Update re: Notice of Closure of Conejos County Courthouse

Sealed Case

Sealed Case Search

This is a search page that you can use to search for a conviction record and confirm if it has been automatically sealed by the court under statute 13-3-117. This search will only confirm if your case is sealed under 13-3-117. This system will not confirm if a case has been sealed under a different process, including but not limited to:

  • If you filed a petition/motion with the court to ask to have your case sealed
  • If your case was sealed automatically by the court because it was an eligible non-conviction
  • If your case was sealed because it was a conviction on your first Minor in Possession case under statute 18-13-122

You can only use this page if you are the defendant in the case. No other person or entity is authorized to use this search tool to get information about a case.

You can only search for one case at a time. If you are looking for information on multiple cases or in different counties, you will need to go through the search process for each case separately.

If you are unable to fill out the form below, or if you are not the defendant in the case, you can fill out a research request form. Fill in as much information as you have on the research request form. The court location will contact you and may ask for proof of identification. If you are not the defendant in the case and the case is sealed, you might not be able to get information.

Denver’s County Court has a separate records system than other counties in Colorado. If your case was a traffic or misdemeanor level case and occurred within the city limits of Denver, it might be on file with the Denver County Court. You can find their online case search page at https://public.denvercountycourt.org/Case/Quick.
