The Legal Technology Advisory Committee is a Standing Committee established by the Colorado Supreme Court in 2025. The Committee is charged with drafting and recommending guidance materials on the use of technology, including AI, for attorneys, licensed legal paraprofessionals, other legal professionals, judicial officers, and members of the public who have cases in our courts or otherwise interact with them. The Committee's objectives are to safeguard the integrity of the legal system, promote competent client service, protect client confidences, support access to justice, and encourage innovation, consistent with the Colorado Rules of Professional Conduct.
The Supreme Court Liaison to the Committee is Justice Maria E. Berkenkotter. The Committee Chair is Judge Lino S. Lipinsky de Orlov of the Colorado Court of Appeals.
Upcoming Meeting Schedule:
Unless otherwise noted, meetings begin at 9:00 a.m. and are concluded by noon. Meetings are held in the Ralph L. Carr Colorado Judicial Center, 2 East 14th Avenue, Denver, Colorado. Standing Committee meetings are open to the public. However, for security reasons, all guests must notify the Chair in advance.
