Law Clerk Applicants

Clerkships at the Colorado Supreme Court are full-time positions for one to two years, typically beginning in August or September each year.   Each Justice hires their own law clerks, typically about 12-18 months in advance.  To apply, unless indicated otherwise below, please submit a cover letter, your resume, your law school transcript reflecting at least three semesters of grades, a writing sample, and three letters of recommendation.  Writing samples should reflect only the applicant’s own work and should not have been edited by anyone else.  Letters of recommendation may be sent separately.  Application materials should be submitted to each Justice separately at the email address indicated below.

Unpaid Internships

The Justices also hire their own interns and externs and will indicate below whether, and for which semester, they are currently accepting applications.  To apply, unless indicated otherwise below, please submit a cover letter, resume, law school transcript, and writing sample.  Reference letters may also be included.  Please submit your application materials separately to each Justice with whom you wish to apply using the email addresses listed below.
