Deadline to submit Comments: March 31, 2026, at 4 p.m.
Deadline to request to Speak at Public Hearing:  April 6, 2026, at 4 p.m.
Public hearing scheduled on:  April 14, 2026, at 3:30 p.m.

The Colorado Supreme Court requests written public comments on the proposed changes to Rule 807 of the Colorado Rules of Evidence.  A public hearing is also scheduled in the Supreme Court Courtroom. Written comments should be submitted by email in letter format as an attachment to an email as a Word or PDF document.  Comments and speaking requests must be emailed to supremecourtrules@judicial.state.co.us

Please include any speaking request in the body of your email.  All comments and requests must be received by the deadlines outlined above.   Written comments received by the deadline will be made public and posted to the website here after the comment period closes.
