Form update projects come from statutory changes and suggestions from Judicial Staff and the public. While the process can vary from project to project, in general:
Phase 1 - Drafting
- The project proposal is reviewed, researched, and initial edits are made.
Phase 2 - Drafting and Review
- Projects are triaged and reviewed by subject matter experts.
Phase 3 - Editing
- Content is edited for formatting and legal accuracy.
Phase 4 - Approval
- Changes are submitted to the Colorado Supreme Court for final review and approval.
Phase 5 - Remediation, Publication, & Translation
- Form fields are added.
- The form is coded to meet accessibility requirements.
- The form is published.
- The form is submitted for translation (as needed).
