Samantha Deveraux

Ms. Deveraux was appointed to her position as magistrate August 2025.  Magistrate Deveraux received her undergraduate degree from Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island, then pursued her JD from the University of New Hampshire School of Law in Concord, New Hampshire.  Prior to her appointment, Magistrate Deveraux dedicated her career as a Deputy State Public Defender in Weld County since 2013 and, since 2020, was a Supervising Deputy State Public Defender.  She has extensive litigation experience and a comprehensive understanding of the judicial process here in Weld County.  Magistrate Deveraux will be assigned to our First Appearance Center and Division D.
