Contact the mediator directly to set up mediation. 

• Inform the mediator if there is a protection order in place with the other party.
• Have your case number, district, and contact information for both parties (telephone numbers, email addresses) available for the mediator.
• Please let the mediator know if one or both parties need a language interpreter or accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
• Tell the mediator that you are scheduling for ODR mediation, in order to receive the ODR rate. 
• ODR is not referring parties to a specific mediator. The parties must agree on which mediator they will use.

Thank you for showing an interest in becoming an ODR contract mediator. Due to updated RFQ procedures and the current supply and demand, we will be opening the ODR contract mediator RFQ in the late Summer/ early Fall of 2027 for inclusion on the roster on July 1, 2028. With that said, if we are in need of mediators with specific expertise, such as topic area or language skills, we may need to contract with additional mediators sooner. *prior to being considered for inclusion as an ODR contract mediator, you must have completed a minimum of 40 hours of basic mediation skills course.
