Job Description
Performs as the Deputy Compact Administrator for Probation (DCAP) in conjunction with the Department of Corrections (DOC) to provide services and guidance to probation officers state-wide, the Interstate Commission on Adult Offender Supervision Office (ICAOS) along with all 50 states and the territories of District of Columbia, U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico on matters concerning the Interstate Compact for Adult Offender Supervision ICAOS. This includes managing specific programs to develop improved managerial procedures and practices in the Colorado Judicial Department’s probation business as they related to the ICAOS and the Interstate Compact Offender Tracking System (ICOTS).

Provides supervision to a probation unit, units, or probation staff which includes establishing operating procedures and assisting in administering probation programs. Assists in the daily operations of the Probation Department, fiscally manages offender services, supervises multiple staff and programs, monitors caseload progress and performs case reviews and other methods of quality assurance.
