The Unified Communications (UC) Engineer is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing the Colorado Judicial Department’s telecommunications infrastructure. This includes installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all telephone systems and services, voicemail and PBX communication systems, mobile device connectivity, and video conferencing environments. The person will also analyze and resolve telecommunications circuit issues in a timely and accurate fashion, and support user needs where required.

This position participates on a broad-based team that works with and manages all activities associated with effectively building and maintaining external third-party partner/vendor/outsourcing relationships.  The position may serve as the primary liaison between the Judicial Department and individual vendors during the contract management lifecycle. The position will work with leadership groups and participate in the development of scopes of work, contract terms and sourcing strategies, and vendor relationship management strategies for all contract types. 

Summary of Job Classification:
This position assists the Colorado Judicial Department with external third-party partner/vendor/outsourcing including the development of scope of work, contract terms, and sourcing strategies for all contract types. The position serves as a liaison between the Judicial Department and individual vendors during the contract management lifecycle. The Vendor Liaison II classification is distinguished from the Vendor Liaison I by the assignment of more complex duties and by serving as a subject matter expert.

Summary of Job Classification:
Oversees and administers the day-to-day operations of a peer mentor program within a veterans’ court(s). Recruits, trains, and supervises military veteran paid and volunteer peer mentors and may supervise up to three full time equivalent (FTE) employees. Participates in providing individual case management for justice-involved veterans. Identifies and tracks veterans as they progress through the court system. Ensures policies and procedures are adhered to. Serves as the state-wide leader for veteran programs, develops state- wide standards and goals, serves as a resource and advisor for other Coordinators throughout the judiciary.

Performs case management functions by placing offenders in the community to perform court-ordered community service.

Summary of Job Classification:
Provides support similar to the Veterans Court Peer Mentor Coordinator I and serves as the state-wide leader for veteran programs, develops state-wide standards and goals, serves as a resource and advisor for other Coordinators throughout the judiciary.

Performs a variety of duties related to the complex matters of water rights and administration in the Colorado Judicial System including investigating applications for water rights, deciding the merits of applications, analyzing laws and rules, making findings of fact and conclusions of law and issuing oral or written decisions and orders to resolve water cases.  May provide administrative direction.  Some positions will have supervisory responsibility.

Summary of Job Classification:
Performs specialized water court functions, including coordination, division support, case processing, and customer service. Processes water case proceedings from start to finish.

Manages the public information, communications functions, both internal and external, and public relations for the Colorado Judicial Department.  Works with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement strategic work plans and strategies for implementation of Department communication needs.

Responsible for the executive and administrative functions of the office of the Chief Judge of the Colorado Court of Appeals. Manages and provides training of Appellate Law Clerks for the Colorado Court of Appeals, providing feedback on the Appellate Law Clerks performance. Provides legal services for the Chief Judge and manages the Chief Judge’s Chambers.

SUMMARY OF JOB CLASSIFICATION: Administers, enforces, and collects all restitution, fines, and costs ordered by the Court in traffic, misdemeanor, juvenile delinquency, and felony cases. Responsible for prioritizing collection of restitution, client stability, and revenue recovery. Implements assertive collection techniques with professionalism and integrity.

The Compensation and Classification Analyst develops, implements, researches, and recommends
compensation solutions for the Colorado Judicial Department. Actively participates in program or project
management relating to total compensation and job classifications.

Leads in the development of implementation, research, and recommends compensation and classification solutions for the Colorado Judicial Department. 

The Conference and Event Planner/Coordinator plans and schedules coordinated conferences and special events.  This position serves as the primary liaison with internal units and external constituents, providing organizational leadership in developing, implementing and overseeing conferences, events, meetings and trainings for the Judicial Department.

Provides legal counsel within the State Court Administrator's Office, Contracts Management Unit, with respect to contracts and performs related contract functions.

Provides support and assistance to those responsible for case processing and coordination of judicial activities in the Colorado Judicial Department.

Provides professional mental health court case management work for the 10th Judicial District. Services also include outreach and client advocacy.

This position is responsible for data collection and reporting, as well as performing case management and some financial functions.
