on January 26, 2024, the Supreme Court issued a rule to show cause why the trial court did not err in permitting the defense to admit evidence of the victim's prior sexual assault.  The respondents are directed to file a written answer on or before February 23, 2024.  The petitioner has 21 days from receipt of the answer to reply.
