The petitioner seeks relief from the county court’s order of September 1, 2026.

On October 28, 2026, the Supreme Court issued an order to show cause why the county court did not err in denying the prosecution’s motion to dismiss.  The respondent is directed to file an answer by November 18, 2026.  The petitioner has 21 days from receipt of the answer to reply.
