The petitioners seek relief from the district court’s order of August 11, 2026, and the court of appeals’ orders of September 4 and September 25, 2026.

 

On October 2, 2026, the Supreme Court issued an order to show cause why the district court and the court of appeals did not err in refusing to stay the district court proceedings pending appeal.  The respondent is directed to file an answer by October 30, 2026.  The petitioners have 21 days from receipt of the answer to reply.
