The petitioner seeks relief from the trial court’s orders of August 17, 2026, and September 3, 2026.

 

On September 16, 2026, the Supreme Court issued an order to show cause why the trial court did not err in denying the petitioner’s motion to dismiss for failing to comply with the compulsory joinder statute.  The respondent is directed to file an answer by October 7, 2026.  The petitioner has 14 days from receipt of the answer to reply.
