The petitioner seeks relief from the trial court’s order of June 4, 2026.

 

On June 29, 2026, the Supreme Court issued an order to show cause why the trial court did not err in finding that the petitioner was not entitled to a preliminary hearing in light of a related grand jury indictment.  The respondent is directed to file an answer by July 27, 2026.  The petitioner has 21 days from receipt of the answer to reply.
