Anita Jain Crowther

Anita Jain Crowther joined the 19th Judicial District as a .6 FTE county court magistrate on August 5, 2019, and was appointed district court judge on October 1, 2022 .  Judge Crowther spent almost eight years working as a prosecutor in the Weld and Adams District Attorney’s Offices, from 2007 until 2014.  She has been in private practice since 2014, representing her clients in a variety of legal matters.  Magistrate Jain Crowther is a graduate of the Ohio State University and the University of Toledo Law School.  Judge Crowther is assigned to Division 15 and oversees district court criminal docket.
