1/9/26 - Delayed Starts and Closures

On Friday, Jan. 9, 2026, the following courthouses will have a delayed start or are closed:

• The Lincoln County Combined Court and Probation Office will open at 10 a.m. due to the closure of Highway 40/287 in both directions.
• The Teller County Courts are closed all day due to inclement weather and road conditions.
• The El Paso County Courthouse is closed all day due to road closures and inclement weather.
• All Trial Courts and Probation Offices in the 15th Judicial District (Baca, Cheyenne, Kiowa and Prowers counties) will close at noon due to weather conditions.
• All Courts and Probation Offices in the 3rd Judicial District (Huerfano and Las Animas counties) will close at 3 p.m. due to weather conditions.
