Do you have an active warrant?

Warrant Forgiveness Day - hosted at the Mesa County Justice Center on Saturday, October 18th, 2025. 
Doors are open from 12pm-3pm.

To see if you may qualify to resolve your warrant without arrest on October 18th,
email the Public Defender's Office at junction@coloradodefenders.us

Eligible Offenses: Felony 5s, Felony 6s, Drug Felony 4s, Misdemeanors, Petty Offenses, Traffic Offenses, Any Probation Violation Warrant from the other listed categories.
Ineligible Offenses: Domestic Violence Cases, Any Victim's Rights Cases (VRA), Municipal Court Charges, Out-of-County Warrants, Sex Offenses, Other Felony Cases not listed above.

State Probation and Criminal Justice Services will be onsite for resource navigation.
No arrests will be made at the justice center on 10/18/25 for your appearance.
 

LEGAL RESOURCE DAY October 21st 12pm-5pm at the Central Library

The 21st Judicial District will be having Legal Resource Day on the 21st of October at the Central Library 443 N 6th St Grand Junction CO, 81501.  You can come attend a presentation, gather resources, and/or speak to a volunteer attorney for about 20 minutes regarding their civil matter. 

Informational Presentations:

10am - 11am - Intro to Child Support: Supporting Families Through the Process - This introductory presentation provides a foundational overview of the child support program, including its purpose, key processes, and the roles of parents/caretakers and Mesa County Child Support Services. Attendees will gain a better understanding of how child support services work to promote financial stability and well-being for children and families. Perfect for new staff, community partners, or anyone seeking to understand the basics of child support.

3pm-4pm – Preparing for Contested Hearings – Pro se parties will learn how to prepare to represent themselves in contested matters, specifically in DR cases where there is not an agreement.

  • ID included where required

Documents that do not meet the above criteria will be rejected

Document is not considered “filed” until you receive a response stating it has been sent to the data entry desk.  At this point you may be contacted to correct your submission or the document will be processed accordingly.
