E-Filing Overview

Electronic Filing System (EFS)

The Colorado Courts E-Filing system allows authorized users to file and serve documents electronically in the Colorado Courts. Licensed attorneys may use the system for civil, criminal, domestic, water, probate, and appellate court cases. 

Availability

The availability of the Colorado e-system is determined by the Colorado Supreme Court and announced through this website. The e-system is currently available to attorneys licensed to practice law in Colorado, and for the courts and case types listed below.

DISTRICT COURT:

General jurisdiction civil, domestic relations, probate, and water cases

COUNTY COURT:

Civil suits asking for money damages, FED, foreign judgments, name changes, protection orders and replevin cases. 

COURT OF APPEALS:

General civil, agency, probate, and domestic cases

CRIMINAL:

District court criminal (felony), juvenile delinquency, misdemeanors and traffic cases.
