Court Text Reminder Program
The 1st Judicial District is part of the Statewide text message reminder program that is in compliance with C.R.S. § 13-3-1021(14), with the goal to reduce the number of criminal defendants and juvenile participants who are taken into custody solely as a result of their failure to appear in court.
The program is available to defendants in criminal cases (CR, T, M cases) and children and parents in Juvenile Delinquency (JD) cases.
Participants in the program will receive a text message on their mobile device reminding them of:
- Upcoming court dates
- Missed court dates
- Unplanned court closures
