Ashley M. Burgemeister

Judge Burgemeister was appointed as the Gunnison County Court Judge by Governor Hickenlooper on September 16, 2016 and began serving in January 2017. A resident of Gunnison, Judge Burgemeister has worked for the 7th Judicial District since 2009. Most recently, Judge Burgemeister worked as the 7th Judicial District Family Court Facilitator. Judge Burgemeister earned a bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University and a juris doctorate from the University of Colorado School of Law.

Judge Burgemeister’s caseload includes civil, criminal, and traffic offenses in Gunnison County Court.
