Senior Audio Visual Engineer
Job Description
The Senior Audio/Visual (A/V) Engineer is responsible for the support and maintenance of courtroom A/V technologies. This includes architectural design, operating, maintaining, installing, configuring, repairing, and upgrading A/V products in the courtroom while also ensuring optimal performance and integration with other systems such as the Colorado Judicial Department’s (Department) network and court reporting equipment. The Senior A/V Engineer will analyze and resolve A/V issues in a timely and accurate fashion, as well as support user needs where required.

Distinguished from Administrative Specialist II by a focus on a relatively narrow set of standard processes and functions that require less knowledge of the judicial branch’s processes and systems.

Completes human resources transactions, such as updating and maintaining employee data/files, conducting new employee orientations, assisting with benefits enrollment. Manages payroll and timekeeping and other administrative support work. In larger districts, employees in this classification may specialize in a functional area (e.g., finance or human resources). May train or guide the work of newer employees.
Distinguished from Administrative Specialist I by having responsibility for a wider range of activities and functions, greater depth and breadth of knowledge regarding the organization’s policies and systems, and the performance of more complex or non-standard assignments independently.
