Manages specific programs and / or serves as project leader in the Division of Probation Services to develop improved managerial procedures and practices in the Colorado Judicial Department's probation business.

Summary of Job Classification:
Manages a case management support services unit within a Probation Department. Supervises Probation Support Specialists to facilitate case processing, documentation, communication, records retention, office management and related activities. Oversees public facing customer service interactions; participates in lobby management; addresses escalated customer service issues. Ensures accuracy, statutory compliance, and timely processing of documentation and records. Assists in the development of policies and procedures for probation client intake and processing. Performs other work that requires extensive knowledge of probation case management and court processes.

Summary of Job Classification:
Manages general administrative functions within a probation department, such as accounts payable and other financial transactions, budget monitoring and expenditure tracking, human resources and personnel actions, payroll/timekeeping, purchasing and contracts, and similar functions. Oversees all responsibilities of the Probation Support Supervisor I.

Performs regularly assigned lead work over staff responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, preventative maintenance and repairs for the Ralph L. Carr Judicial Center and the associated 1255 Lincoln Parking Garage, including utilizing automated control systems to monitor, adjust and control various electrical, plumbing, lighting and mechanical building systems.
