The Lead Business Systems Analyst oversees the Business Analysis team and establishes and communicates the vision for technology products and services supported by the Information Technology Services Division (ITS) of the Colorado Judicial Department from the point of view of customers, end users, and stakeholders.  This includes gathering and analyzing information regarding business cases, proposed projects, service improvements and systems requirements, and reporting this information to stakeholders.

Summary of Job Classification:
Supervises and participates in the administration, enforcement, and collection of all restitution, fines, and costs ordered by the Court. Implements assertive collection techniques with professionalism and integrity.

Manages the activities and operations required to maintain the Colorado Judicial Department’s iSeries servers running OS/400 operating systems, LPAR architecture, database administration and associated storage devices, and various other systems in support of the Department’s IT infrastructure.  Work involves consultation, planning, design, installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of relevant systems.

The Lead Network Architect’s role is to develop and maintain the high-level design plan for the overall logical and technical network architecture for the Colorado Judicial Department.  This position is responsible for managing statewide activities and operations required to maintain the Colorado Judicial Department network.  This includes ensuring the stability and integrity of the Department’s data, voice, video, and wireless network services.  This is achieved by planning, designing, and developing local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization while also ensuring minimal network downtime.  The Lead Network Architect will provide technical leadership and strategic decision making as it pertains to the network architecture across the Information Technology Services (ITS) division.

Leads the Information Technology Services Division (ITS) of the State Court Administrator’s Office for the Colorado Judicial Department and assists the State Court Administrator in the operations and strategic direction of the Judicial Department.

Provides administration for the ODR Program of the Colorado Judicial Department.  Establish rules, regulations, and procedures for the prompt resolution of disputes.

Leads the Division of Probation Services (DPS) of the State Court Administrator's Office for the Colorado Judicial Department and assists the State Court Administrator in the operations and strategic direction of the Judicial Department.

Develops and implements educational curriculum and technology utilizing current on-line educational practices to provide educational programs for the Colorado Judicial Department employees specific to court services via distance learning.

Provides specialized professional services and high level administrative and analytical support to the State Court Administrator in the State Court Administrators Office.

The Facilities Designer/Planner manages the Underfunded Courthouse Facility Grant, assists the Architect with the planning, design, construction, maintenance, and security needs of court facilities throughout the State’s 22 judicial districts, and coordinates multiple division involvement in construction and remodel projects in courthouse and Department facilities throughout the State.

Summary of Job Classification:
Provides individual case management and coordination of family-related matters, including domestic relations, domestic violence, dependency, and neglect and delinquency cases before the courts.

This position is located in the Financial Services Division of the State Court Administrator’s office.  It is the entry level position in the Financial Analyst series and is responsible for work related to financial programs and systems or the financial aspects of programs and systems.

Manages and administers statewide and/or multi-jurisdictional financial programs or the financial aspects of programs.

Manages specific financial programs or financial aspects of programs and/or serves as financial project leader to develop improved managerial processes within the Colorado Judicial Department.

The Financial System Owner manages the technical and business aspects of financial programs and systems for the Colorado Judicial Department.  Duties include collaborating with internal and external system users to meet business needs, solving technical issues with systems and data exchanges, and reporting on system usage and potential improvements.

The Lead Principal Software Engineer supervises and provides technical leadership to a team of Software Engineers within the Information Technology Services Division (ITS) of the Colorado Judicial Department  through hands-on direction of project development.

The Legal Contracts Manager represents the Colorado Judicial Department on various legal matters relating to contracts and supervises the Contracts Management Unit who manage the definition of objectives for the negotiation and implementation of contract language and contracts; oversee administrative aspects of contracts; develop, justify and explain contract terms to Department staff; monitor contractor compliance with contracts; and resolve issues between contractors, vendors and end users involving contracts.  This classification also manages the development and practice of standard procedures for contract negotiation and management.
