12/18/25 - UPDATE: Courts and Probation in Jefferson and Gilpin counties closed

The 1st Judicial District Court and Probation offices in Jefferson and Gilpin Counties will be closed on Thursday, December 18, 2025, due to a Public Safety Power Shutoff. Power has not been restored to court facilities in Jefferson and Gilpin counties following high winds over the past 24 hours. Xcel Energy has not provided updates regarding when power will be restored.
